Welcome to L. Robert Allen Montessori Center website!
The L. Robert Allen Center is a lab school for Chaminade University of Honolulu. Utilizing the Montessori philosophy, it serves children from ages three to six. The L. Robert Allen Montessori Center has been in existence since 1982.
The Center is accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS) as a practicum site for the preparation of Montessori early childhood credential teacher candidates. This center is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and affiliated with the Catholic School Department of the Diocese of Honolulu and licensed by the Department of Human Services of the State of Hawaii.
This Montessori Center collaborates in the support of the educational mission of Chaminade University by providing a quality Montessori learning environment that serves the needs of young children and their families, our student teachers, faculty, and our growing community of learners.
